My
Vacations
The summer
holidays are the days of recreation and rest since these days come after hard
work. These days come after giving examinations. As the holidays began, I was
enthused to plan for the period. I did not have to think much of the
examination.
I was only thinking how to spend the vacation pleasantly, in
visiting places, in reading of literature. I sought permission from my parents
to pay a visit
to Jaipur with my friends, a place that is known as the pink city all over the
world. I had a desire to visit the forts over there. I saw the hawa mahal went
to the forts and also sneaked into one fort in the night. I had some traditional food of Rajasthan with
a glass of butter milk. I had heard of the attractive features of Jaipur with
all its pictures que beauty from one of my
friends. Its climatic condition on account of its location close to the dessert
was not much attractive in summer, but a trip with your friend is always a
thing to rejoice.
After
coming back from the Jaipur trip it was
time to go for a family trip. I went to Hong Kong , Macau and Shenzhen.
First I went to Macau. In Macau I stayed at the venation, which is one of the
largest hotels in the world. Macau is famous for its casino’s and the Macau
tower. I tried go inside a casino but failed in doing so as I was under age. I
also went to the Macau tower which is the highest tower in the world. I saw
people bungee jumping from a height of 336M but didn’t did it myself as it was
too scary for me. After Macau I went to Shenzhen which is in china. After
visiting Shenzhen my thinking about china changed as I was shocked to see the
kind of infrastructure in china and seeing that I realised how behind our country
was infrastructure wise. After Shenzhen I went to Disney land. I stayed at the
Disney land resort and relived my childhood days. After Disneyland I went to
Hong Kong where I first went for a city tour and then went to the ocean park. I
was so happy after doing the roller coaster as it was a thrilling experience . As
the day in ocean park ended my trip had also come to an end as I was coming
back the next day. The whole trip was a great experience and I was coming back
with a bucket full of beautiful memories which I can cherish for years to come.
After
coming back from Hong Kong I went to Goa. There I lived in one of my friend's
house. I visited the movie, held talks with other friends. When I went to a temple at Goa with my friends we had to climb
hills. The passing of the evenings on the sea beach was indeed joyous. On my
way back to home I did not miss the opportunity of buying some souvenirs for my
family.
As the college
was to be opened on 8th of July, I had to put an end to my pleasure
trip there. I had no much money make further journey. I had got the pleasure of
sightseeing. I engaged myself in the revision of my lessons of the previous
year. I paid undivided attention to studies in order to make up for the time
lost. Since I spent the vacation in moving new places I began my lessons with a
refreshed mind and a cheerful heart. I felt as if my journey to those Places
increased my capacity for work.
