Subject: Faulty drilling equipment.
Respected sir
This letter is to bring to your kind notice the faults in
the drilling machine that your company has delivered to our manufacturing
outlet carrying Order no. JAM/tools/457 dated 28th July
2013 in response to our letter having Ref no. Tools/DMD/1 dated 20th
July 2013 which contained the order and specifications of the drilling
machines as required by our company.
The machines that are total of 34 in number have 12
defective pieces which are encountering a problem. The regulator which is used
to control the RPM of the motors is not functioning properly as a result of
which we are not able to drill precise holes. Second problem in some pieces of
Drill heads which are not having correct dimensions as printed in the
specifications, as a result of which we are facing a problem in our work.
Since we are having only 12 machines to work with, it is
affecting our time schedule in manufacturing the products and delivering it to
our customers. You are hereby requested to either replace these faulty machines
or either send someone who can repair them since they are in warranty and
please get the drill heads replaced as soon as possible.
