                                                         MY  VACATIONS

Vacation is such a word that when we hear it brings in mind a lot of happiness and fun and it gives a deep feeling of relaxation and enjoyment after the monotonous routine of daily life. I remember when my second sem exams were over and my friends made a plan for camping  in nanital for 3 days and my parents allowed me to go with my friends on this nanital tour I was feeling so excited about my trip. Our trip was arranged my one of my friends dad. That was the reason why my parents allowed me to go alone on this trip. This was the first trip when me and my friends from different colleges were going to be reunited after the farewell in our schools, so my heart was full of excitement of meeting my friends after almost a year gap. Then the day arrived when we have to leave for nanital via train from new delhi .When I reached the platform I saw all my friends there and then I met each of them and we all finally boarded the train. In the train we had lot of conversation about our one year experiences in our colleges and and we played many games like truth and dare blah blah. On next day we reached kathgodam station where we were received by the camp person who came to escort us to the camp in a mini bus. Then we reached our camp and we all got  ready in about an hour for the breakfast. After that the camp instructor introduced us to his camp members and described all the activities that we were to perform in the two days span. Around noon we went for a small trekking and in the evening we were divided into 2 groups, one of which had to perform mountain climbing and the other ones have to perform river crossing. I was in the group 2 and I performed river crossing .It was the best ever activity which I ever tried . In the night we  had a bonfire dance .It was so fun all my friends enjoyed it a lot. On second day we went for a trekking at 5500m altitude above the sea level. It was around 10 a.m. when we reached the top the view there was so amazing that for one moment we forget where we were it felt so amazing to see those  high snow covered peaks from there and we had some photographs and then we started trekking down back to the base. After that we had rest for 4 hours. In the evening we had snacks and then we left the camp for visiting nanital mall road. Next day we wake up in a hotel at the mall road the view of the nanital lake was amazing from the hotel balcony. After having breakfast we went for sight seeing with a hotel guide he showed us bhimtal , lover’s point, suicide point and the peaks of Himalayas for which went by car to an altitude of about 6000m above sea level. We return around 3 p.m. and then took rest till around 6 p.m. . After that we went out of the hotel to see the mall road . I  had heard  a lot about the beauty of the place in the dark. We bought some gifts for our beloved from the tibetian market. After that we went for a d.j. night there where we danced a lot . That was the most enjoyable evening because next day we all have to leave for our homes. So we danced till late night after which we reached our hotel to get some sleep . The last day we were ready to leave but before that we had some nice photographs of us together in nanital. Finally next day I reached my home safely and my family members were happy too. Now I miss my friends again and I hope to have a more adventurous and enjoyable trip again with my friends in the next vacations.
